Burnley linked with Hal Robson-Kanu
According to an emerging report from the Daily Mail this afternoon, Burnley are one of many Premier League clubs considering a move for Wales international forward Hal Robson-Kanu.
The 27-year-old is a free agent this summer after he allowed his contract with Championship club Reading to expire in July, but is now looking towards the future and is angling for a move to a higher standard.
Robson-Kanu was a key part of Wales’ astounding Euro 2016 success, as he helped them reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
The report states, though, that the powerful striker does have offers from all across Europe. It’s claimed that Robson-Kanu has offers from clubs in England, Spain, Italy and France. The report also claims that a move to the MLS is a possibility.
However, if Burnely’s offer for Robson-Kanu is one that will attract him to Turf Moor in the next week, they will have to be patient with the Welshman, who has decided that he will only act upon the offers when they are all in front of him on deadline day.
Burnley aren’t the only Premier League club interested in making a move for him, though, with Hull, Middlesbrough, Swansea and Watford all keen on the versatile front man.
