Brentord are exploring the possibility of taking Burnley striker Dan Agyei on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Daily Mail have reported today that the Championship side are looking to bolster their attacking options and have identified Agyei as a good solution this month.
Sean Dyche is claimed to be keen on overseeing the striker’s progress at a higher level, so Brentford would be an upgrade on Coventry, where he previously spent some time on loan.
Agyei returned to Burnley having bagged four goals during his loan spell and now Brentford are keen to allow him even more first-team football.
The 19-year-old is highly unlikely to get a look-in at senior level with The Clarets this season due to the plethora of striking reinforcements at Sean Dyche’s disposal, so a loan move is almost certainly the way forward.
Agyei will look to continue his development and come back to Burnley a better player again.
