Last time out – Arsenal vs Burnley
Arsenal and Burnley will meet at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon in what promises to be an interesting encounter.
When The Clarets last visited North London to take on Arsene Wenger’s men back in January last year, they were a Championship team vying to cause an upset in the FA Cup.
However this time round, it’s in the Premier League and The Clarets are certainly impressing many with their performances upon their return to the top flight this season.
The Gunners, who fielded a somewhat weakened team, took the lead after 20 minutes as Calum Chambers managed to find the net.
However, Burnley did stage a fightback shortly after as Sam Vokes powered home Tendayi Darikwa’s ball into the box, levelling things in the FA Cup clash.
Sadly for Burnley they could not hold on despite having a couple of good chances, as Alexis Sanchez’s 53rd minute goal proved to be decisive as Arsenal progressed.
