Burnley have reportedly lodged an enquiry for Inter Milan left-back Yuto Nagatomo.
The Daily Mail have reported this afternoon that The Clarets are keen to make a move for the Japan international in order to bolster their defensive reinforcements ahead of the second half of the Premier League season.
The 30-year-old has been with Inter Milan for a long time now and could be looking to seek a move away from Serie A in order to try his hand with a new challenge in the Premier League.
Burnley are claimed to be looking to take the experienced defender on loan this month, but Inter aren’t exactly looking to let go of Nagatomo in this month’s transfer window.
Nagatomo would provide another experienced head at the back for Burnley as Sean Dyche continues to scout the market for some more additions as he looks to cement his side’s place in the Premier League this season.
